Kruk07, I'm not really familiar with Spotweb Easy R.C.2, read this article and download Add_Take_Ownership_to_context_menu.reg, follow the instructions...
Now locate your SpotWeb Easy database folder and take-ownership over the folder and files (right-click "Take Ownership").
Try to update your SpotWeb Easy database again.

• localhost?

I get the impression that apache is not running

@Ypsos - Thanks but this did not helped
@Wheaten - page looks exactly the same just blank in FF and 404 error in IE.

I run Initial install, install server and start server. However I received bellow error:

The SpotwebApache service could not be started.
A service specific error occurred: 1
More help is available by typing NET HELPMSG 3547

Not sure where this more help is available.

Apache often gives an error in the eventlog when not able to start. It would be interesting to see a screenprint of that.

You were right. There is an Apache event in the log. Please see below all the details:

The Apache service named reported the following error:
>>> Unable to open logs .
>>> no listening sockets available, shutting down .
>>> (OS 10013)An attempt was made to access a socket in a way forbidden by its access permissions. : make_sock: could not bind to address 0.0.0.0:80 .
>>> (OS 10013)An attempt was made to access a socket in a way forbidden by its access permissions. : make_sock: could not bind to address [::]:80 .

I changed port to 88 using Port Change link. Now there is no Apache error any more in Event Log but this still does not work.

But this time in IE i have an error: This page can’t be displayed

Looks like something else is using port 80.

if i recall correctly, (installer was build a long time ago) there is a program in the startup to change the port settings for apache, In case you need IIS on :80

Install spotwebeasy windows internetexplorer : " The website cannot display the page" Most likely cause etc. More information HTTP 500 internal error.

This warning i get during install when internet exploring links to http://localhost/spotweb/install.php

Anyone knows how to solve this?
